2017 CCAC Mini-Grant Information

The Camino Community Action Committee (CCAC) is very proud to announce our third CCAC Mini-Grants for Camino.  Due to our generous community, and the incredible success of our annual Barn Dance, we are proud to assist our local non-profits through a program of mini-grants for projects based in Camino.  Applicants must be non-profits serving the Camino area or Camino residents.  These mini-grants will be awarded based on an application process.  Eligible projects are those serving Camino that are involved in one or more of these areas:

  1. Serving Camino School and/or local children
  2. Increasing the beauty or safety of our community
  3. Fostering arts or entertainment
  4. Enhancing historical or cultural opportunities
  5. Providing recreational or outdoor opportunities

Applicants can request up to $1000.00. The deadline for this round of mini-grants is February 28, 2017 at noon.

  • Emergency Procedure +

    Should an emergency arise at school, we will use our emergency phone notification system to send out a message to advise you of the situation. As a parent you can ensure that fire fighters, law enforcement and school officials are able to handle an emergency.  Please do not rush to the school to pick up your child.  Emergency plans are in place to reunite students with their parents as quickly as possible.   
  • Extended Day Program +

    The Extended Day Program is held Monday through Friday in Room 12 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  During business hours, you may reach Extended Day at 644-2204, ext. 224.  For more information on the Extended Day Program, please contact the El Dorado County Office of Education at 622-7130, ext. 298.
  • Early Head Start +

    Head Start State Preschool:  Child Development Programs & Services offers high quality, early education programs for families with children ages birth to 5.  Applications are now available for the 2013-2014 preschool program year.  Call for more information: (530) 295-2270. 
  • Drug Free School Zone +

    Camino Union School District is a drug free school zone.  Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited!
