PARKING

Parents, we need your help! For many years, the field across the street from the school has been used for overflow parking when we have big events. That property is now a working farm, Penrod Farms. There is no overflow school parking allowed. We understand that parking can be a problem at the school, but please respect the farm owners and DO NOT use their property for parking. As a reminder, there is additional parking at the middle school. We appreciate your attention to this matter.

Back to school night welcomes parents to CUSD

Parents and families at back to school night this week met with our educators, toured the schools and gathered valuable information regarding the high-quality education they receive at Camino Union School District. Superintendent Matt Smith welcomed everyone and explained why our students are in very good hands, “We have amazing teachers and staff providing unique programs that enrich the lives of our future community leaders. Our school district is an integral part of our amazingly supportive community, and in turn, you are always welcome to provide input and become involved in our schools.” Parents then followed their students’ school schedule and visited classrooms to experience a day in their child’s educational lives, complete with presentations by the teachers. Thank you to the parents and families who came for a couple of wonderful nights!Camino 2 2
